The ONE PIECE anime has revealed an encore trailer for ONE PIECE FILM RED, and the movie will be getting a 1-month long re-screening from October 20. It will be a 4K upscaled and retake version, and you can watch the new trailer: 1f2q6v
The announcement comes right after the highly anticipated episode 1071 premiere in Japan. ONE PIECE FILM RED originally premiered in August 2022, and it grossed over ¥2.25 billion (~$15 million) with 1.57 million attendees in the opening weekend in Japan. That made the biggest opening-weekend numbers when it came to both the audience and earnings among films of 2022. It also quickly became the best-performing film in ONE PIECE‘s history.
The ONE PIECE manga by Eiichiro Oda first began in July 1997, and the legendary series exceeded 4-5 years back in 2020. The manga currently has 1088 chapters, while the anime is at 1071episodes. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, and Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
