On Match 6, 2021, an anime adaptation of the Sabikui Bisco light novel got announced. What’s more, a visual and teaser got revealed as well. Studio OZ will take care of production. The teaser and Tweet start with the line “This light novel is amazing! (2019)”. 5d6p5l

Moreover, trailer reveales some names and we can see that Atsushi Ikariya (Akame ga Kill, Fate/Zero) will be the director for the series.

The story is set in a Japan that is ravaged by plague-like rust, and details the journey of the strongest mushroom hunter Bisco Akaboshi and young doctor Milo Nekoyanagi and their search for the legendary medicinal mushroom “Sabikui”, believed to be the cure for the rust.

Looking at the trailer we truly can’t wait to watch Sabikui Bisco anime adaptation. The world looks awesome and the art looks great as well! For now, we don’t have any information about when will the show premiere.
