The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 Reveals New Key Visual, Additional Cast 2k5a1g

A new key visual and additional cast for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 were revealed on Monday. Studio Kinema Citrus is returning to animate The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 which is set to officially release in October 2023 on Crunchyroll. Check out the new visual below: 6w2u2q

MADKID performs the opening theme “SIN” and Chiai Fujikawa performs the ending theme song “Suki ni Natte wa Ikenai Riyū” (The Reason I Cannot Love You). New cast additions include the following:

• Konomi Kohara as Atla
• Kouhei Amasaki as Fohl
• Ami Koshimizu as Nadia
• Maria Naganawa as S’yne

Kaito Ishikawa will be reprising his role as Naofumi and so will Asami Seto as Raphtalia. The rest of the returning cast for The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 are the following:

One Peace Books is publishing the original The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel series in English. The new season will start at volume 10 and describes the plot as such:
Finishing the battle with Kyo, Naofumi and his friends return safely to their world. The queen of Melromarc wishes to reward Naofumi for saving the world from the Spirit Tortoise. “Then can I have my own land?” After thinking about what he could do for his friend and partner, Raphtalia, Naofumi decides the best thing for their future would be the establishment of their own settlement–and he decides to build it on the ruins of Raphtalia’s old hometown! The start of a whole new chapter in our hero’s life begins here, in volume ten of this otherworld revenge fantasy!
